2nd day. Examination and preparation of the auction. Students find out what methods exist for studying paintings (visual, stylistic, physical and chemical (radiography), etc.). Each group receives a picture (not their own) and the history of its creation for examination for admission to the auction. Students will also learn how an auction is conducted (what is a pledge, the auction step, the procedure for conducting). They choose from their class a leader and his assistant (who takes minutes, counts, etc.).
3rd day. Auction and reflection. In addition to the owner of the auction and his assistant, everyone else participates in the auction. They receive some capital in advance (we need to think about how), on the basis of which they can buy a painting at one price or another. It is not forbidden to combine capitals, or borrow (then they must explain how they did it and designed it).
